United Arab Emirates
Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
The UAE Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation - work permits and labour services for the mainland.
Overview
MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation) runs the UAE's mainland labour market: work permits, employment contracts, employer establishment files, wage protection, and labour disputes. Free zone workers are managed by their zone authority, not MOHRE.
Workers and employers use the MOHRE app or mohre.gov.ae to issue and renew work permits, sign contracts via UAE PASS, file complaints, and check labour card and contract details. Tasheel centres are the offline arm for paperwork-heavy cases.
